AND the 10th Anniversary Year of Rosanna Cub Scouts and Rosanna Scout Group! Cubs started off with a Games night to kick the year off. Raksha 7/3/17 Tue Boomerang Test 11 - Natural Environment We saw what we could find out about the natural world around us Bagheera 14/3/17 Tue Rosanna Scout Group 10th Anniversary 13th of March, 2007, was the first night of Rosanna Cubs and the start of Rosanna Scout Group. 10 years later, it was time to celebrate - including with a Grey Wolf presentation! - 19/3/17 Sun Banyule Festival "Arty Farty Fest" Grand Parade Our Cubs marched in the Grand Parade and then joined up with their families to go to the Festival - 21/3/17 Tue Codes and Signals How good are you at working out codes and sending signals?...We had a play with them AND earned a badge! Bagheera 24-26/3/17 Fri -Sun Gold Camp VIII! Rowallan Scout Camp, Riddells Creek Older Cubs by invitation - Fun, with cooking, learning how to earn the Grey Wolf, Hiking, trying some Scout stuff and earning the Bushcraft Level 2 Badge - Rosanna were joined by Cubs and Leaders from other Cub Packs from around Victoria for a huge weekend. Rikki 20/6/17 Tue Possum Prowl La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary We visited the La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary and went out in the dark to see what nocturnal creatures we could find - some of us saw plenty! Akela 24-25/6/17 Sat-Sun Gang Show, BBQ and Cub Sleepover Rosanna Scout Group and family members went to Gang Show 2017, followed by a family BBQ with 1st Bendigo Cubs too and then a Rosanna/Bendigo Cubs-only Sleepover at the Hall. Great fun! - 27/6/17 Tue Jungle The Jungle Book was written in 1894 and Cubs has had Jungle Book as the basis since it started in 1916 - we went back to our roots and had a great night to boot. THESE ways work almost anywhere!
