Older Cubs by invitation - Fun, with cooking, learning how to earn the Grey Wolf, Hiking and trying some Scout stuff - Rosanna joined with Cubs and Leaders from Cub Packs from around Victoria for a huge weekend - including hiking in the rain!. Rahn 23/3/14 Sun Banyule Festival "Arty Farty Fest" Grand Parade We marched in the festival parade and then grabbed our families to go to Sills Bend to enjoy the rest of the festival - including the Scout display. - 25/3/14 Tue Boomerang Test 4 - Outdoor Scouting - Fires and Cooking Can you safely light a fire... how about cook your own food on one? Rahn 17/6/14 Tue Space Night We flew off into Outer Space... and earned a badge! Akela 21-22/6/14 Sat-Sun Gang Show, BBQ and Sleepover Over 60 Cubs, Scouts and family members went to Gang Show 2014, having a family BBQ with 1st Bendigo Cubs too and then a Rosanna/Bendigo Cubs-only Sleepover at the Hall. HUGE fun! - 24/6/14 Tue Jungle In the dark steamy jungles of India there's a boy escaping the clutches of a tiger - who gets to rely on a Wolf Pack, a bear and a black panther to save him, look after him and help him grow... We got our eye patches, parrots and the rest of our pirate costumes, as we went on an epic weekend of fun... including surfing and then thrashing the Scouts in the flour fight - again! - 18/11/14 Tue 8th Cub Olympiad Paris In 1924 the 8th Olympiad was held in Paris, France. In 2014 we celebrated our 8th CUB Olympiad to test our skills, work as a team and HAVE FUN. Akela 25/11/14 Tue Penny Hike We flipped our special coin and, heads one way or tails the other, we let our coin take us on a (big) tour of the suburb.
