Akela 4/6/13 Tue Heritage Night Signals Museum, Simpson Barracks As part of our Heritage Badge we visited the Signals Museum to see what we could find - the Cubs really enjoyed it. Raksha 11/6/13 Tue Police Station Visit Heidelberg We visited Heidelberg Police Station - unfortunately (say their parents) they don't lock any Cubs up! Rahn 18/6/13 Tue Initiative Games Not your normal games - here Cubs had to work as a team and THINK it through to win. Rama 22-23/6/13 Sat-Sun Gang Show, BBQ and Sleepover Our Cubs, Scouts and Venturers visited Gang Show for a ton of fun, had a family BBQ (and a going up Ceremony) and then a Cubs-only Sleepover at the Hall with 1st Bendigo Cubs. An Investiture and plenty of badges awarded.. and we also ran an info session for parents on the upcoming Region and other Camps - what to bring etc.   10/9/13 Tue Weather Badge Level 1 Joint night with 1st Ivanhoe Cubs For something different, we learned some stuff about the weather and got the opportunity to earn a badge - with 1st Ivanhoe Cubs along to join in! Good fun Akela 21-23/9/13 Sat- Mon Plenty Valley Region Cub Camp Camp Wainganga 4 days, up to 400 Cubs and TONS of activities - Horse riding, canoeing, Zorb balls, Funfields.. in the words of some Cubs - "best time ever"!   21/9/13 - 6/10/13   School Holidays Time to take it easy and get ready for Term 4   Rosanna Cub Scouts - Term 4, 2013 - Program 8/10/13 Tue Games Night Term 4 - year's almost gone.. we got warmed up with some games... and it's daylight saving, so outdoor games - cool! He comes from America and was brought up with loads of Halloween experiences - Our Scouts joined us for a spooky time. Rama 5/11/13 Tue CUP DAY NO CUBS - 12/11/13 Tue Boomerang Test 4 (Part) - Outdoor Scouting Maps and Compass It's always good to know your way around... so we learned some compass, mapping and tracking skills Akela 19/11/13 Tue 7th Cub Olympiad Antwerp In 1920 the 7th Olympiad was held in Antwerp, Belgium, to honour the people of that city after the suffering they endured in World War 1. In 2013 we had our 7th CUB Olympiad to test our skills, work as a team and HAVE FUN. AND Santa put in an appearance!   21/12/13 - 29/1/13   School Holidays 2013 is done and dusted - a great year for our Cubs - Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, as we bounce into 2014 on Tuesday, 4th Feb, 2014.
